Did you know? Millions of Americans likely have chronic discomfort and functional impairments they attribute to aging or other causes, not realizing these are due to biotoxins.

Q: How do I take the VCS Test online.

A: Once you purchase a VCS test, you will be able to click on the take test button. Read the instruction page and proceed to the test page. When on the test page, you will be instructed to cover your left eye, and a test pattern of light and dark bars will be presented in the middle of your screen. Below the test pattern will be four response buttons. They indicate that the bars are tilted to the right, straight up, tilted to the left, or that you are not sure (cannot see any bars). Click on one response button to indicate what you can see. After responding to 45 patterns for testing the right eye, you will be instructed to cover your right eye. Respond to each of the 45 patterns presented for testing the left eye. If you are not sure that you are seeing a pattern, indicate what you think you might be seeing. If you cannot see anything, press the "not sure" button. Immediately after completing the test, you will see a response indicating that you tested "positive" or "negative" for the potential presence of a biotoxin-induced effect. A complete file of the results will be available to you through the sidebar buttons.

Q: I cannot login!

A: Verify that you have entered the correct login name and password (the same one you used to purchase the VCS test). Check to make sure your browser supports high encryption (128bit). 128bit encryption is required to login to this site due to security reasons.

Q: Why can't I login with the login name and password that was emailed to me?

A: Your browser must be set to accept cookies. You will not be able to login without cookies enabled. To enable cookies, please see your browser's documentation. For any other questions or comments please email our support personnel.

Q: I cannot access this web site from any other computer. It keeps telling me that there is a DNS error or that "The page cannot be displayed".

A: This is a browser issue. There are some known problems with those accessing this site using non-standard versions of Internet Explorer while accessing secure portions of the site. Installing a newer, standard version of Internet Explorer fixes this problem.

You can check your browser version by clicking on Help>>About Internet Explorer or Help>>About Netscape. Check to make sure your browser supports high encryption (128bit) and that it does not state "This is a customized version of Internet Explorer". 128bit encryption is required to login to this site due to security reasons.

Visit your browser's website to get the latest security package or to download a non?customized browser version. Netscape | Internet Explorer

Q: I have a "color warning" at the top of my screen. How can I fix my color?

A: You need a video card that supports more than 8?bit color so that the VCS test will function properly. Not all video cards are capable of greater than 8-bit color.

To check if your video card supports 8-bit color: 1. Right Click on the desktop 2. Choose Properties. 3. Choose the Settings tab. 4. Under Colors if you only see 256 color than you will need to try this test on a another computer with more colors. If you see 16?bit or greater, select it and follow the instructions.

Q: If I quit the VCS test before finishing, will that count as having taken the test?

A: NO, the test will be available to you until you have completed it, have received a "positive" or "negative" result, and we have recorded your score in your permanent file.

Prior to launching a new version of this website in June, 2002, the earlier version had been online for about a year and a half. Over 3,600 registered users had taken the preliminary and VCS tests. About half of the test results were positive for potential chronic, neurotoxin-induced illness. We do not know exactly how many of those used our treatment protocol with their local physician, or the outcome for all that did. We do know, however, that many used the protocol with success, and that many others were successfully treated by Dr. Shoemaker or another physician.
